LEARNING AND SMALL GROUP MINISTRIES
At Highlands, our focus in on relationships—with God, within our community, and with each other.
Small groups enable us experience a new depth of relationships, both with God and within the church body. With a focus on friendship, learning, and prayer, these groups ensure that our members stay connected and have the chance to experience God with like-minded believers.
Each group meets weekly or biweekly at a time and place convenient for its members. Many of our groups begin again each January and September, giving new attendees a chance to join or change groups. Here, you’ll find a class or small group that meets you where you are:
Newcomer Small Group
Explore our Beacon class for newcomers, taught three times a year in our fellowship hall.
Seasonal Groups
Seasonal small groups focus on historical church calendar events, such as the six-week season of Lent or the four-week season of Advent. Led by our clergy, our next Advent class for young adults (ages 22-30) will run November 28-December 19. Contact our Associate Pastor to register.
Midweek Small Groups
Wednesday nights at 6:30 (following dinner at 5:30)

Our Youth group (for grades 6-12) meets several times a month to socialize, explore group-building experiences, and meet with with other United Methodist youth groups.
